"Lost" audio clips in the arranger mode?

I had a bunch of audio clips in song mode, then I head over the arranger mode, and start putting some clips onto the arranger. So far, so good.

But then I decide that two clips that are several rows apart should be closer together (i.e. they should be stacked vertically), so I try holding a pad in the row with the clip and twist the UP/DOWN knob.

This is where I "lost" the audio clips. All that shows up on those rows now are singe white squares. I try to hold then and turn the main knob to try to return their color, but that didn't work.

Any guesses as to where they've gone?
