Hi there,
Together with a friend of mine we developed a little script that merges two kits or synth presets with each other. By 'merging' I mean it copies and replaces all the relevant data for the actual sound but leaves everything else such as MIDI mapping or any other configuration.
My main application for this is updating older kit or synth presets with a 'template preset' where all my MIDI mappings and some pre-configuration is stored.
You'll need a version of Python 3 in order to run the script. Please carefully read the 'README.md' or 'README.txt' before using.
