10-19 basses
20-29 FM presets
...
I think I noticed some categorization but not sure how you intended to use.
I do like shift+rotary to skip all sub-presets (songs). Meaning when you hold shift and rotating the preset would go 2,3,4, skipping the 2a,2b, 3a,3b... I wish we could somehow skip by 10s.

Yes, there was some categorization:

0-12 basses
13-28 "rich" synths
29-34 "simple" synths
35-42 FM synths
43-58 instrument simulations (most are FM)
59-62 short, sharp synths
63-72 harsh synths
73-86 pads
87-91 effect pads
