Add start trim or looping to Waveforms in Song View

The looping/trimming works great in Synth and Kit views but it would be great to have the loop/trim controls in Waveform view from the Song View. The reason for this is that say I want to lay a bass line down from Line In as an audio track if I load it into the synth it won't sound the same or if I add it to a kit I can't control it the way I would like to ( on the main song view without creating lots of kits) so Song View Audio Tracks are really great but if I trim in the Waveform view it distorts the the sample. I can only trim at the end in the clip view but this means sometimes I can't get a tight loop on a bass line.
