Building on my series on FM we utilize FM with the FM Engine but also in the VA/Subtractive Engine because percussion always seems to need some Pitch Envelope on the Oscillators which is FM too.

This one was a doosey to make! Any support in the form of LIKES, YouTube Channel Subscription, or Patreon support is greatly loved, but not expected.

Using the sound of an 808 as a guide, rich drum tones were made, but due to the difference in synth architecture there are definitely limits of how close it could get to 808 and I feel happy about it. I think it definitely has the punch that I get from my Eurorack drum kit so that is a beautiful destination to arrive at. Hope you enjoy.
