Can I use a foot pedal to arm a track for recording?

This is the big picture thing I'd like to do
- Startup my Deluge, load up a template song
- Begin recording some drums in a kit, say 8 bars (but 4 or 16 or whatever if I want to). I think the best way to do that is to loop.
- Then, I want to start playing some guitar over it, recording it too in a loop.
Between step 2 and 3 I need to hold record, disarm the drums track, and arm the guitar track.
So my question is: is there anyway to just do that with one press of my foot somewhere?
