Instanced Tracks or smaller: MIDI track to multiple channels

It would be great to have the option to output one MIDI track to multiple channels or instead have the option to have a track to be the (sequencer) instance of another track (eventually with a note offset).
For example:
I have a sequenced MIDI track that is remotely controlling external synth 1 playing a specific line. Now I want to have synth 2 play the same line (same sequencer content) but 1 octave lower.
This 'track instancing' would also be interesting for internal tracks to build up a deep sound from multiple synths tracks.

To be honest I think at least before this is implemented you could come the track and just choose the other channel, press down and turn the octave so that could be done in seconds.
