Manual needs subchapters, 1.2, 1.3 ..etc for easier topic finding -I'm happy to do this!

Hello,
When using the manual I find it not so easy to locate the information I need. I think subchapter lists will help this, which is common in other manuals. For example:
4 Synthesizer
4.1 Synthesizer Concepts
4.2 Deluge Subtractive Synthesizer Overview
...etc
The index is good, but that serves a slightly different function in a manual.
I would be happy to add this to the contents myself, just for my own benefit! And then include it in the official manual?
Please let me know how to help.
Best,

I don't know if you are the same person as this reddit poster who had the same thought as you

Do it
To be honest, an actual legit manual is needed to begin with.
What. The manual covers every single detail and I was able to find every information I needed. And if something is missing they are quick to add it.
There's no reason to badmouth it like that.

The manual by Synthdawg? Sorry, but I disagree. I find it to pretty poor. Cryptic and half of its volume is constant repetition of earlier stated facts and blank pages for notes. Aside from not being detailed enough, the discontinued original Synthstrom manual was much easier to read. That’s just my opinion, I’m glad it works for you.
I see. Thanks for explaining! I've never seen the old manual but I guess there really are different preferences

Great! Thanks for sharing. I wouldn't have found this.
As usual, if you can think of something useful someone has probably already done it.
I think this should replace the existing manual for usability.
That would be me. It would be awesome if the Synthstrom folks could add an outline to their official copy (presumably their authoring tools have some way to do this). The "pdfoutline" tool I used to do so after the fact sadly results in a PDF that some viewers have problems opening.
Thanks for doing that anyway. Opens fine for me.
I suppose they will need to add a bunch to the manual with all the new firmware additions, so maybe with the updated manual...
It does not work correctly.
I got a Deluge yesterday with 300 page printed manual which is great and I agree it could use that and also I’d love if the index were much more exhaustive. The content is priceless however, very well done to all involved 🥰
