Third Party Patches and losing my original kit patches

I purchased third party software from Boards of Deluge and loaded into my sd card. After that, I could not play any of the KIT sounds. It keeps flashing "file" and changing numbers but no sound comes out.
Please help as I do not know what to do!

It sounds like some or all of your kit sounds got moved or erased. Have you checked your SD card contents to see if anything’s amiss there?

Yes the XML files are there but cannot load. They are under the KITS folder. If I have too many folders on the SD card would that matter? Should I keep it to the minimum of KITS/SYNTHS...etc?

I think what would cause the error would be missing or moved samples that the kits are pointing to, not the kits themselves. Maybe take a look in the DRUMS folder.

Can find the 808 on in the kick folder under drums......

I see the problem. The DRUMS folder, as well as any other samples, all need to be nested within the SAMPLES folder.

I believe the top level should only have KITS, SONGS, SYNTHS, and SAMPLES.
