Sample start and end point - can I midi assign?

Hi!
I'm wanting to be able to 'play' sample waveform start and end points but OUTSIDE of waveform view.
Aiming towards a granular synth type sound.
So, has anyone managed to assign start/end point to a gold knob, for example?
Cheers

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. Something along these lines may be possible in the wavetable update.
π ½π Ύπ π Έπ ²π ΄ π ³π ΄π »ππ Άπ Έπ Ύπ ½π Έππ?
Ok, thanks for your response.
I guess resampling is the way forward for now.
Cheers
Not sure what you trying to do but maybe slicing a sample in a kit may help
π ½π Ύπ π Έπ ²π ΄ π ³π ΄π »ππ Άπ Έπ Ύπ ½π Έππ?
So....... I'm sequencing sampled sounds sounds and then whilst they are playing opening up waveform view and messing about with start and end points live, which gives a bit of extra movement to sequences. Was just hoping that I could automate that, but as you say, those parameters aren't mappable for the time being.
An idea of what you could do is, in a kit, load the same sample on a desired number of rows, set different start and end points for each, then use vertical probability (https://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/comment/15427#Comment_15427) to trig them at random, or iteration dependence to play them in some order.
π ½π Ύπ π Έπ ²π ΄ π ³π ΄π »ππ Άπ Έπ Ύπ ½π Έππ?
Ok, nice one, I'll give that a go
