"Der eine hat der andre nimmt" [What genre is this?] [Uplifting]
Heptagen

Can someone tell me what genre I made here?
This track came out of nowhere for me and was the second track I ever made on the deluge, on the second day of owning it. For half a year it stayed unfinished, because I didn't like my voice on it. But I still like it way more than most of the tracks I did since then.
So I took heart and edited my voice on the computer using Manipulator by Infected Mushroom. Now I like it.
What do you think?

Dare I say it - "Hepta Pop"?

I can't help you with the genre question but this is a very pretty song.
The arps have a cute crispness that remind me of installing cracked software, in the best possible way.
I can't believe you made that on the second day of owning your Deluge. I've had mine nearly a year and I still feel like I have so much to learn.
@Alder_Dice Thank you for your kind words!
Yeah, I watched all tutorials (multiple times) beforehand. But I also take difficult interfaces as a welcome challenge, it seems (Renoise, Pocket Operator, deluge)
Still this track seems like a one off for me. I feel like I can't make another track like this if I try to. Maybe just beginners luck.

Renoise is still my DAW of choice, not that I've used it since I got my Deluge!
Wow what? Haha what a coincidence! Hello fellow renoiser! 👋😁

Love this!
The first 30 seconds could be something on Kompakt but the chiptune lead then makes it sound totally unique. Amazing work.
