Another naive question regarding wavetables

Hi again

I'm slowly skimming through the 3.1 manual and on p100 I can find that the synth engine can handle WAV files and treat all wav files as a single cycle waveform.

I thought that this was known as wavetable synthesis. If not, what is supposed to do the new planned 3.2 wavetable feature?

There is a difference, wavetable will introduce the ability to morph trough a series of waveforms as opposed to just using a single one.
