Big Sur and micro SD

Hi, I'm not sure where to place this question, but I'm not able to load even access the micro SD card when using Big Sur. It shows up fine, but I see in the information window that I don't have access to the card, hence you can't upload any new files/samples etc.

Anyone had the same problem, has a solution, etc?

    Okay, solved the problem for the moment, but maybe someone has a better solution. Here's what I did:

    System Preferences > Sharing > tick/select File Sharing.

    This seems to have solved the problem giving me 'custom access'. So, if anyone has a better solution, or knows something about this problem, let me know (here).
