USB Midi --> Din Midi out

Hi,
I am not entirely sure how to word this question properly (that may tell you all you need to know about my general experience with midi) - but I have a usb midi controller (Akai Midimix) and I would like to use that to control both Deluge parameters (I have this bit cracked), and if possible parameters on an external device connected to the Deluge via the midi out.
Is it possible to get the Deluge to play host to the external USB midi device (yes it is) and pass "through" that midi to the Din Midi out port?

    Hi Rob,
    It is possible to control your external device this way. Just go in the Deluge settings menu to MIDI > THRU and set to on.
    Then make sure your external device is set to receive the channel being sent by the Akai.
    And that’s it!
