set limits to custom knobs?

Hi! Probably a noob question, and not even sure if it can be done...
Is it possible to set limits to custom knobs values? If so, how?

In my example, I want to set a knob to increase/decrease the pitch/transpose while I’m playing (kinda like a whammy effect), but I would like to reach a max of +12, as it’s hard to do it accurately with the full range when playing live.

Would i be possible to set it so that the max value is +12 and minimum -12 or something like it?
