For those looking . The**** Line 6 podhd 500 and the 500x** **both work perfectly. plus you get effects. You can assign midi note data through pc app and on the pedal. I have my bottom switches assigned to loop, layer, record, play and undo. with my top switches for effect. But if you dont play guitar and still want a foot controller you can pick these up for under $250. With a Nektar pacer being $225 with no effects .It is a good way to go.
