Hardware extension over usb for AUX send and other stuff

Since i saw a lot people talking about aux send and the fact that it is not possible with the current HW, I came up with the idea of a HW extension for the usb port.
For example a module connected to the usb with stereo in and out connection wich is is recognised by the deluge.
I have no idea if the current HW could handle audio streaming over usb..
but this would open so much possibilities without the need of a deluge 2.0
hope you like the idea..
Maybe also synthstrom would be interested to do a cooperation with some motivated users or anything like that.
