Better countdown display for armed clips

IS:
when arming clips a blinking number countdown is displayed.
manual:
“Any time that a clip is armed, a number will be displayed, blinking fast, on the Deluge's numeric display. This represents the number of complete or partial "loops" (usually of the longest currently playing clip) that have yet to complete before the current armed action takes place. When launching or stopping clips, this will always default to 1, but by turning the select knob, it can be increased on-the-fly. Or, by pressing down on the select knob, the armed action can be cancelled altogether.”

I find it often hard to know for how long the “number of complete or partial loops” is, making it hard to decide if and how I should change the number. Complicated thing about the Deluge is you have to factor in the longest clip of the currently active clips AND the longest clip of the armed clips. This is not a suggestion to change that behavior, rather making it easier to work with. Arguably it would be maybe better to change that behavior.

SHOULD:
Make it easier to know when exactly the current armed action will take place.
For example by adding a bar countdown. Example with a 12 bar loop

  • “1.12” 12 bars until launch
  • “1.1” 1 bar until launch
  • “2.12” 24 bars until launch
  • “10.1” 121 bars until launch
