Hard panning via pressing goldknob

Hi all,
I shrinked my setup to only the deluge and some FX pedals, which I put in an FX loop (right output, right input), and then use left input for looping instruments and left output as master out. After accepting, that I'll go mono now, I realized, that this is actually a really versatile setup. You can pan every single track through FX or whatever and record audio if you want. Since pressing the pan-goldknob does nothing atm, I thought in might be cool if it would just change to the other side (hard left / hard right) when being pressed. It would just make the output-switching a bit more comfortable.
What do you think?
Cheers

I already suggested this to Rohan :) He said it was a good idea (like so many others, of course).
I also use the Deluge with a send-return kind of setup.

Tip: Reverb pan is global. Go into any track and pan the reverb, and it applies to everything. In my case, I send all reverb out the left which is my main out :)
