Tempo is linked to section, not the entire song

I'm sure this has been suggested here already but, if it has, it's not showing up for me in a search. I'll gladly delete this thread if someone points me in the right direction and add my upvote there.

I have tempo changes in my songs, as I'm sure many others do, as well, and it would be great if tempo could be associated with the section and not the entire song. I play guitar and sing while performing with the Deluge and nailing the tempo shifts while doing everything else is not always the slickest manoeuvre.
