Recording output to audio clip cuts off last part of sample

For example, if I am in song view and create a new audio, then press record, then play, then tap the audition pad so it blinks (to stop recording at end of bar), the resulting audio clip is missing the very last part (that part on the grid will not have a button lit). The only way I can solve this is to record two bars, then clip the resulting sample.. but this then causes it to play at double speed.

I am not sure what to do here, am I doing something wrong?
