Arpeggio - Don't Retrigger Envelope

Could we have some extra modes for the arpeggiator where the envelope(s) don't get retriggered while a note(s) are being held. Currently, it's impossible to get those lovely chipmusic style chords because the envelopes get retrigged everytime an arpeggiated note is generated.
To see the problem:
Create a default synth with Attack 0, Decay 10, Sustain 0, Release 0
Program a chord into the track with long notes
Listen to the playback
Now turn on the Arpeggiator (set mode to Up)
Listen to the playback - no envelope
