Being able to use envelopes/lfo's/fx independently on osc1 and osc 2 of any given synth would yield a "vector synthesis" type sound. Also-- a way to crossfade between the two while performing with a knob would be excellent. Roland would eat their hats.

another implementation would be for all "carriers" and "oscillators" on the FM side could carry a different waveform each with independent shaping. this might require some sort of XY pad or joystick controller (another excellent Synthstrom Audible product, perhaps?)
