Track(s) - arm for recording

I don't know how looping and record into arrangement will work in V3, but while it may be still fluid - I'd like to suggest how to arm track(s) for recording - press AUDITION + MUTE (if necessary adjust input midi channel with Data dial while both are pressed) and blinking audition pad indicates that track is armed. Pressing AUDITION + MUTE again disables arm for recording. What do you think - could it be feasible/possible?
