Algorithm for intelligently splitting a sample into a kit

The pocket operator KO lets you sample something and then it does some analysis of the sample and then splits it into a kit which is pretty neat. Perhaps this could somehow translate into the Deluge workflow of handling samples, it seems it would be better than the 16 even split of a sample.

pocket operator does transient detection and auto-trimming.
for slicing bpm sensitive samples the current mode is still needed.
