Bar length locked resampling mode

Simply put, this idea would be an alternative to the current "shift+rec, shift+rec" resampling mode. This would be additional, because I believe that the function is a very important way to resample.
This would allow the user to resample the length of the bar under these conditions:
1. If in track view, the auto length resample would go as far as the length in the track selected
2. if in song view, the auto length resample would go as far as the longest length in the section (the similar operation like when we trigger the next section)

great suggestion. awesome if this was added to a offline render recording mode.
just sketching out:
hold record until it starts blinking, a menu is openend: with a multiplier x1, x2, x3, x4, .. (for example reverb tail needs x2).
then press select knob and a sample is rendered offline as rpc describes (song, track mode specific). in arranger mode it could bounce whats in the current screen.
Absolutely needed.
