Can't edit Sample Start and End value?

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, but when I try to record something via the built-in mike, I then want to set a specific start point. I can enter the menu or use the shortcut to do so alright, but then... how in the world do I switch between the second and millisecond values? I looked over the updated 2.0 manual, I tried pushing encoders and using the shift button, no joy.

What am I missing?

This took me a while to work out too.

It'd be nice to be able to add comments to the manual so omissions or Easter eggs could be noted.
