Pushing the limits?
Just curious if anyone has pushed the limits of the Deluge?
So far I have only done fairly simple stuff, typically around 8-10 tracks whilst learning and not really pushing the limits, but it would be interesting to know just how complex things can get before voices get dropped and the system struggles, so has anyone done dense or complex stuff which has made the Deluge struggle?
I’m thinking in terms of number of samples, bpm, number of events, polyphony, UI response under stress conditions, SD card access and so on.
Obviously beyond a certain amount of simultaneous events timing and voice count would be affected, but what are these limits, and thinking in terms of say an hours worth of material for a live set are there considerations to think about with regards to having all the samples, voices and arrangement in a single project, things like track count, length of stems/samples and so on?
Thinking about samples, does sample length and specifically having say 16-32 short one shot drums playing along with a bunch of longer stems cause the SD card to struggle? And any benefit to using only mono samples for sounds which do not need to be stereo like drums?

before v2.0 i reached the limits a few times. getting cuts in long samples and such.

since 2.0, never reached the limits so far.
Yeah same here, before 2.0 I would sometimes get songs not saving properly, samples in the wrong place and FX would be missing when I loaded up the song....since 2.0 I haven't had anymore issues like that.
