Boesendorfer HQ Piano Multi Sample Pack

Based on the great pack from lcoustik.

Here is a Boesendorfer sampled Piano which i created using lcoustik's kit as a base. Its velocity sensitive and has individual samples for each piano key.

Copy the files in the zip file to your deluge sdCard folders.

Song72B is a sample song with mapped keys to midi CH8, you don't need it if you have Song70 from lcoustik's kit.

Here is a KIT where sustain pedal is not always on. The sample stops if you release the key.

Here's my tweaked version for anyone to try.

Has a smaller release than your first one (may be like your edited one above plus some more reverb), but I've also fine tuned the pitch offset a bit (to my ears) and remapped the keys so that they go from A0-C8 and have the correct KIT names to match the Wavs.

'C1 ' is C1
'C1 s' is C#1 etc

Uses the same wavs so no need to grab them again if you've already got them.

Song and Kit are both numbered 100 (to match my file layouts)

Looking forward to someone doing this with other instruments too

Im working on a MULTISAMPLE KIT generator that automatically parses the sample files of a folder and maps them.
It recognises the common sample naming format (A0_, A#0_ etc), which you also get when you export a KONTAKT library into wav files, see

Then you can also set release, attack, velocity etc globally so you don't have to individually edit every note.

Also it would fill in sample blanks automatically. E.g. my flute samples are missing certain keys like C#. So it will fill out these gaps and take the closest sample e.g. C and set transpose to +1 semitones.

( Technically the script converts the xml to json because its easier to work with in JS. When saving it converts back to xml. )

Making some progress. The generator noticed, the kit100 has one incorrect file, i think its named BO instead of B0 These kind of typos are hard to see in XML files. Hope i can release a beta later today

Sample 1 is low velocity, Sample 2 is high velocity. The kit blends between the two which is something i learned from @icoustik

Put the XML files in your SYNTHS folder.

File path for the samples needs to be: SAMPLES/PIANO/Boesendorfer/64/A0_PU1.WAV
