Best update I've seen yet (and there have been a lot of amazing ones). I love this particularly because of the promise of what's to come. Y'alls commitment to building community as a top priority has shown through since the Deluge's launch, and now …

Just dropping a note to say I have both devices and use them together regularly. Mostly I use OT to compensate for the lack of a headphone out on the Deluge (I sample loops into the OT from the Deluge after demoing them in headphones through the OT'…

This update is ground-breaking. For one thing, it's a fantastic new feature which I have no doubt will be taken even further with future updates. More importantly, this vision of committing to a particular hardware platform for the long haul, to …

Really excited about the shift! I'm allergic to Facebook and nostalgic for well-curated forum communities. Looking forward to participating.

I've been noticing increasingly frequent freezes where no error code is displayed but the device stops responding and emits a whine. It sounds like this could be related to voltage? How would I go about diagnosing whether voltage is low, and what c…

This site: https://delugist.neuma.studio/ It's the ideal platform for sharing and cataloging presets. But I guess nobody has noticed it, because it's desperately in need of contributions!

@pbolger said: Silly question, but did you try cleaning the bottom of the pad with alcohol? I did clean the pad as well and in my case it didn't help. But for anyone else with pad problems, it does seem like a good thing to try before re…

Short story, you were right! The pad needs replacement. Longer story, in case it's helpful to anyone else: * I opened up the Deluge to take a look at the pads. Which, for those who don't know, involves following the disassembly instructions …

Thanks Ian for the info about the replacement pads, I didn't know that was available, could be helpful! But I still have the same question as pfrf - in your experience (or anyone else chime in), has pad unresponsiveness been solved by replacing t…

I love that you're doing this, eager to see how the "final" version turns out!

Amazing work, and a really smart direction to take. The live looping functionality highlights the Deluge's immediacy - being able to interact with it as an instrument in a live/improvisational way. Beyond just deepening the "feature list", this exp…

This is really exciting. Every time there's a new big update, I get a sense of how big the vision is for the Deluge, and I realize that even though it feels like a finished product to me, it's not nearly complete!

I browse to folder on deluge, hold down the select button, but I never see context menu with ALL in it You have to hold it down and rotate it.

I'd love to see this too, but it's such an obvious feature that I have to think there's a reason it hasn't been included. Maybe it's too CPU-intensive?
-
I don't get it, in what way is this comparable to the Deluge? I mean, I guess they both do sampling. But seems like a very different device geared toward a different purpose to me.

I completely agree that it's unrealistic to expect Rohan to switch from being a rockstar developer to being manager of an open source community project. And we don't want support time to be taken up trying to distinguish between custom software bui…
