No worries, hope it helps! These recent replies have reminded me I need to do another pass on it as I think there were a couple of errors (or things that were not so clear). Will post an updated one in the next couple of days.

@amiga909 said: Do you get sorting problems with a Song init? Maybe what you experience is related to the fact presets are saved as part of the song and there is a global namespace and a song namespace, I proposed to prefix all song namesp…

Oh, I meant to update this because I discovered something that you'll want to address: By default the 'fade in' is on when sampling. This is when the Deluge samples a little bit before actual sampling takes place. If you're sampling in this way t…

Oh and watch this space for Delslice V3. Having a few teething problems but it will be working soon I think.

Haha! Yes, it's far from ideal but actually more handy for doing Kits - the resulting samples are far easier loaded into a Kit than as multi-samples. Not sure if it's much use in it's current form but it made me think there should be a shortcut like…

Actually, an even simpler way would be to layer up the notes you want to sample in the Deluge MIDI clip then set the Iteration setting for each note so the first note plays 1 of 8, second note play 2 of 8 and so on (depending on how many note you wa…

I'd maybe add to this: If the sample is set to LOOP and you're zoomed into the start or end point, pressing the audition pad for that sound will actually play from slightly before the End Point and loop back to the Start point. That way you can a…

@Ian_Jorgensen said: yes, that is right. you select which version of the shortcuts you are using in SETTINGS > SHORcuts, either 1.0 or 3. 0 so those shortcuts match yours. You can still use the 3.0 firmware with the 1.0 shortcuts of course…

Someone on Reddit tipped me off that you can divide the tempo down by holding LEARN and then pressing and holding TEMPO then rotate until you get a sensible tempo. Works really well. Not that obvious though! (what I posted on Reddit) Create au…

Yeah, as I said at the start, that's how I've always done it. It does seem like sampling into an Audio Clip would work if only you could trim the start (as you can the end) - does anyone know why this isn't possible? Seems an odd omission.
