Try the program mentioned in the “64gb sd cards possible?” Thread (I think that’s the name of the thread) called GUIformat. I formatted a 128gb card a second time with it and native windows 10 just gave me an error saying the data format was unrecog…

@Praemolar24 said: Thank you. I'm sad because it did not work. Some broken data could be recovered, but ironically the whole 'songs'-folder was changed into a file! Can you imagine that? The whole Internet seems not to know a solution for thi…

Granted the title says “Song view should work like Ableton Live’s Session view” indicating a change to current Song view, not another separate view. Maybe the title should be changed to indicate an additional view rather than a change to a currently…

@MPrinsen said: The way song view works now just discourages me to create much more than 8 tracks. Which is a shame. I want to launch as many tracks from the same screen as possible. Especially since it is very blurring which track is which when …

I just installed 2.1.1 yesterday. Had 2.0 previously. You guys must have made improvements to synth engine. It sounds better or presets are better. Thanks for all the hard work. Incredible dedication to customer requests. Can’t wait to see what you …

I was able to format a 128gb Sandisk ultra A.S. fat32 using GUIformat, but after transferring many samples to it, Windows stopped being able to read the file structure. The sd card showed 57gb free, but would not show my directories or files that I …

I have an RE303 and the Deluge signal is not great for 303 patterns - it can’t do the glides right. Was some time ago I last tried it but I have the TB03, an MB33, an an RE303 and the RE303 only sounded right using its own sequencer. Use the RE303 s…

I bought the Deluge after waiting a very long time for Akai to fix the MPC X and Live standalones and refused to sell my mv8800’s which still do more than the standalone new MPC’s. Not gonna put my faith in Akai on this one. I like the Deluge. It ha…

@pfrf said: Press the “start note” pad. Don’t hold it. Press and hold <> and press the “end note” pad (to the left of the “start note” pad). Thanks for this. Was driving me nuts trying to figure it out.

Not sure what would be difficult in having a feature to auto focus the master keyboard to whichever current track you are working on. My mv8800 does this with ease. Using midi din in from keyboard. I highlight a midi track or internal sampler engine…

This is exactly what happens with Ableton Live when hitting record and jamming in session view. Everything spits out recorded to Arranger view and you have you starting point of a song to make individual tweaks on in the Arranger. I was also hoping …

Must be that poly mode is a continuous higher cpu usage. Would make sense to use auto if a lot of synth tracks are used and only play chords or use long releases in note runs that overlap occasionally.

My recommendation - Start slow of course if you get one. Take one good app that you can write complete songs on like Intua’s BeatMaker 2 or 3, and buy a couple low cost good synths and really get to know them before going nuts on app purchases. It c…

One downside is no trial software. I usually go by ratings and check out videos on YouTube for how it actually works. Too many good apps to list, but you have a wealth of different types to pick. Plugin fx, drum apps, glitch drum apps, synths, seque…

It’s worth it to get an Air 2 or better as some of the best sounding apps are 64 bit now and take advantage of the extra horsepower and memory of the newer architecture. I did run an iPad 2 for nearly 7 years straight, then got an Air 2 to replace i…

Also iOS guitar apps like Bias Amp and Bias FX, Ampkit, and JamUp Pro Bias in particular. Guitars have been sitting a little while, but when I pick them up, I really enjoy recreating guitar amp sounds of classic rock songs. Bias is extremely fun …

I hear ya. I closed the Computer and just use hardware with exception of softsynths and apps on iOS. Working on computers all day long kinda soured me to sitting at one for music after work. I had about ten years of Ableton solid but between Beatmak…

The Sampler version had the issue on line in for sampling also. I can see how this would be an issue for those wanting to sample a lot of material. Not an option for regular Electribe 2, so not a big deal for me. I specifically bought the synth vers…

Did some reading on the issue and see that for the Electribe 2 Synth the problem presents when enabling audio line in or in power saver mode or if volume set extremely high. I won’t ever encounter it by the descriptions of use. I never turn volumes …

Interesting. I don’t get any high pitched noise, but then I run a noise gate on all input channels on my mixer. Mixer is Behringer X-Air 12 channel. Certain other synths and even the Deluge can at times exhibit line noise probably from some electric…

I got a great deal on a demo Electribe 2. Nice companion to the Deluge. They seem to play well together so far as I’ve tested. Circuit is a good companion too, but I like the Electribe’s ability to sequence external gear on 16 midi channels. I can s…

@krunchr said: @Sam said: Hi @MPrinsen! Just to confirm, the Deluge is class compliant but, while it can be powered through USB, it's unable to supply power to anything connected to it. Hope that clears any confusion up …

You could also get an event filter to kill clock input from the keyboard.

You probably have an option on the keyboard. I have two older Yamaha CBX-k1 controllers that transmit clock, but there is an option to turn off clock output on the keyboard One of those cbx-k1’s I bought in 1997. Still works as good to this day. …

Hmm. I thought the instructions were pretty clear. I put just the bin file on the root of my SD card and nothing else, then powered on holding the shift button until I saw the sequence on the display described in the instructions. I didn’t touch the…

Also use the nested menu section of the manual to cross reference what options you have for each shortcut. The shortcuts are just that - shortcuts to menu items and options for each are nested in the menu category.
