Finally got around to logging in again and ordering my 3.0 shortcuts overlay and what’s this? A great manual out now. Perfect. Thanks to everyone that works hard at making the Deluge one of the best purchases for music gear!

Not sure if this has anything to do with what you are asking for, but a per midi track midi filter would be great. Have common midi message filter options to be enabled per midi out track. This can be done with external midi filter units, but would …

Thanks! Nice and easy to read. Much appreciated.

Finally got around to putting Linux Mint 19.1 on an old Acer laptop I had. Formatted the 128GB as Fat32 and transferred everything from the 32GB card to the new 128GB and added the samples from my collection I had left out due to space issues with 3…

There are a lot of cross posts as well. Asked here and solved there or tips there that don’t make it here. One unified forum would be great with a special access beta testers section if possible. I can’t bring myself to go on there anymore and fe…

This would be a welcome feature. Like a giant Launchpad grid. Upvoted.

It’s showing you are in the record directory on the SD card and the sample is 0019. Hitting back will direct you out of the record directory into the parent directory. Navigate to Samples directory an then into whatever files you have. You are basic…

I was looking at the iConnectivity Mio10 manual and I think it could do the filtering and remapping part after you use the software on your PC or Mac to set the thing up.

@duelinmarkers said: Actual programming on the Deluge for midi channel 1 would all still be done on the same track. It would be a tedious task. You would have an easier time with a second Deluge and sync the two Deluge’s …

I have two old CBX-K1 Yamaha 37 mini key controllers. They run with 6 AA batteries, have assignable mod wheel, full access to sending rpn/nrpn messages, output midi clock if necessary, lists of common CC’s printed on the top. Very easy to send quite…

A configurable midi filter built in would be nice. I use a Midi Solutions Midi Processor for filtering messages right now.

@j3threejay said: Correction to my last post... This actually did work! Not sure what I did differently after I walked away for a few hours and tried again.. Good to hear!

You can create a track with a sequence, clone it, then edit the cloned track, but you can’t play both original and cloned track at the same time. You also can’t create two new tracks that have the same sound number that would play simultaneously. …

@pbolger said: I have a Deluge, and I don’t have a beard. Just saying. To unlock the new features you have to put a .jpg on the root of the SD Card that shows you have a beard I think. I’m starting mine soon....

The title looks like you specifically want a gate out to a DIN Sync but the description sounds like you just want clock sync from deluge to a 24 ppqn timed machine like a 303. I use a midi to DIN Sync converter that gets timing tight. I’m hanging…

Wow. Just watched the Sonicstate video interview with Ian. Awesome stuff. Really outstanding work on the Deluge. Such a great purchase for me and keeps getting better.

@CandyGarage said: Is it just a question of choosing an active box vs passive? For ex., does the Kenton THRU-5 seem like a good solution (preventing all the issues listed above to happen)? I have both boxes but never tried the Quadra Thru…

You just set the track length to what you want. Pad track 2 bars, drum track 1 bar with variable drum events for number of times looped (yeah - that’s a feature), short synth hit sequence 1/2 a bar (or whatever length you set - it will repeat), long…

Those definitely look great. Same with the Electribe and Boutique overlays. I need to get me one for my Electribe 2, jx 03, and jp 08, plus the Deluge complete.

Ian, Any chance we could get a good picture of how an overlay looks on the Deluge?

You guys rock. Great news. Looks like 3.0 is going to be full of amazing improvements to an already awesome machine. That is a lot of bonuses over the 1.4 version I bought. Thanks!

This is great. Many thanks!

Dave Smith used the same vco’s and vcf’s in the prophet 5. Interesting. OB-xa uses them also.

From the description of the 3340 vco and the 4 pole OTA vcf, this sounds like a portable Prophet synth. Very nice.
