  • Chord palette + circle of fifths + chord track

With this beautiful grid, it will be nice to have a chord palette (with chords related to the scale chosen in the deluge) + circle of fifths for transposition. Even a master chord track to being able to transpose- re harmonization of all the tracks ( like the master track of the teenage engineering op-z or the squarp pyramid).

Some kind of chord stuff and harmony tools, can enhance the music creation and to kill the writer's block. Having a big grid, makes easy to implement some kind of chord palette.

  • Waveshaping on all waveforms!

Hi, I'm new here, and waiting to my Deluge to arrive home....so excited!

I'm wondering if in the future it can be implemented waveshaping in all the waveforms, something like this (as an example):
    -square with pwm (allready exist)
    -sine to triangle (soft clipping)
    -saw multiplier with detune (supersaw)

    etc...

This can make the synth engine much more powerful without changing the UI that much. Being able tp modulate the waveshaping can make the Deluge a full fledged and organic digital synth.

Mutable instruments have his Braids multi oscillator models code open source, maybe some models can be ported to the deluge. I think it's a way to expand the synth engine exponientally.

    Cheers!!!

  • Ideas for improve the synth engine!

Some of this suggestions are taken from another threads, some are my own ideas, but I think with a little effort from the developer, the synth can be much more interesting. And why not to try things not used in other synths?!

    -Waveshaping in all waveforms (pwm)
    - Use samples as LFO
    - Formant, band reject, notch filters
    - Use the grid for draw your own LFO's
    - Wavetable engine, with wavetable travel (multi stage envelope) drawn in the grid.
    - samplebased formant oscillator (that detects the pitch of your sample and tune it to C )

    Any ideas?.

    Cheers!

  • the real deluge

To everyone considering buy one, this is the best, more forward thinking box I ever had. Finished 5 tracks this week, and I had a ton of fun in the process.

  • Rename your stuff with the internal mic !!!

Due the lack of a system for rename your projects, kits, presets... I suggest this feature:

    • When saving your stuff, press at the same tame the record button and speak to the mic, saying the name of what are u renaming. This will be recorded and when u scroll through your songs (for examlple) you will listen your voice note.

This can win the record guiness of the fastest system of naming stuff in a hardware instrument... LOL
