A quick hint to get you started: if an icon is surrounded by a solid square it means 'hold', if it's surrounded by a circle it means 'press' and if it has two circular arrows it means 'turn'. Where two icons are inside brackets it means you must hol…

@leehu said: Hi, thx for the heads up. I think it's a more correct use of XML and agree with you that it's a nicer format, though ultimately cosmetic as you say. Processing the files for me in C++ is virtually the same either way, so am ha…

I use APC Key 25. I can't wait until Deluge V3 gets MIDI host functionality as I'll then be able to plug it straight into the Deluge (currently goes via my iConnectivity interface). The APC velocity sensitivity is a bit crappy but pretty much eve…

Thanks Ian, some sensible points there Are the replacement panels ready to ship now?

What's people's preference on replacement panel Vs overlay? I originally went for a printed case when I bought my Deluge and prefer the idea of a replacement panel but what's the chances of having to replace it again in the future? There are still u…

Some of you non-Facebook crew might not have seen my latest: a random Synth generator written in Python. Install and stuff is a bit messy as it requires Python 3.x, Pip tools and a couple of Python libraries (it's all in the readme text etc.). Th…

Thanks Jamie. New update is a huge improvement in terms of the DC offset. I spotted that it now seems possible to save an edited sample but each time I tried I was getting corruption. Saving to a new sample (just changing the filename by appendin…

New version V0.10 * Improvements to path handling means you don't have to copy the script to your SD card - run it from anywhere but you need to specify the full path to the source sample and output Kit. * new option to add an extra slice cont…

That's weird, I added the file and it's disappeared!

Evening people! Yes, I made a Python script that can take a single sample as input and generate a Deluge kit based on transient (and other types of) detection using the Aubio Python library. I don't really know where to put the files so I'm ad…

You can already do it a bit on kits. I just posted this on the Facebook group: Nice little 'velocity mapping' you can do on kits. Assign a snare to OSC 1. Assign a different snare to OSC 2. Set the volume of OSC1 and OSC 2 to 25. Map VELOCITY …

Had another idea for this: By default, the Song should play until there are no more Sections defined. To make the Song loop, hold the pad where you want the loop to start and then while holding it tap the pad where the loop should end.

This would be a massive workflow boost - great idea Ron!

Yes, I would love to see the ability to shift notes horizontally

I'd also like to see an option to completely turn off the sample preview as you're scrolling through the file browser. Personally I'd be happy using the preview pad for the track/kit to preview the currently selected sample rather than it play autom…

@rohan said: The LED next to the power inputs turns red when the battery is low. And yes, charging terminates automatically when the battery is full - at which point the LED will turn green. Rohan, any chance that this could be changed in…

My suggestion on the FB group was for the Deluge to 'remember' the last velocity you dialled in. Then maybe upon exiting Track mode it could be reset to 64.
-
Absolutely!

Haha, I must have dreamt it then! I guess the obvious question then is: are you able to implement it and is it planned?

Great idea.
