Agreed - I think we need more sampling options generally, threshold based and also the ability to record loops from external hardware without going through the workaround of setting up a drone note etc etc. Ideally the option to audition/discard mul…

The main reason I haven't bought an analogue heat is because of Overbridge. Why pay for sub-par DACs I have no use for? I've a feeling this can't be done anyway because there's only two channels of DAC in the Deluge hardware, I may well have got …

@alien_brain said: yes you are alone Of course you speak for everyone on this forum which is why your posts get so many downvotes. Personally I like to be able to see play position on different tracks as well, but I'm holding fire to s…

There's already an FR for 'loop screen' with a lot of upvotes. I agree though, too hard to work on long tracks at the moment which kind of defeats the point of infinite length tracks!
-
One man's 'basic feature' is another man's 'toy feature'. That's why this forum exists, so people can suggest feature requests and Synthstrom can plan updates based on those that get the most votes. Personally I don't think you can get fairer than t…

@VJFranzK said: the question is - what would it do with all the other loops? ( because they could all be in various places if they are a different length. ) If the cycle region was set in song mode then this wouldn't be an issue. In t…

Are you guys making sure you upvote as well as adding '+1'? I ask because I keep seeing '+1' comments added but the upvote count stays the same and that's what Rohan et al will be keeping tabs on! Having said that I see the same person has added …
-
Yeah, overlapping FRs for basically this feature which is probably why the amount of upvotes seems rather 'watered down'. I would love the ability to assign a MIDI note to each row in a kit so that one can easily work on a track away from the stu…

I'm just bumping this FR as it's been mentioned (again) on the Facebook group.
-
This FR has been duplicated more than once, as well as the link above there's another one currently on the front page! forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/598/save-midi-instruments ..it's a good idea but we need to try and keep all the FRs consis…

Yeah, play from current position is cool and all but it's nothing like as useful as looping. Deluge can create tracks of almost limitless length. I don't see how you can fully take advantage of that without being able to loop and edit a section t…

Glad to see this getting a lot of '+1's - here's hoping this might be implemented soon

Yes - and ditto for lfo/env to CV outputs. There was another thread on this somewhere...
-
I would love this if it were possible. Would make life a damn sight easier.
-
I agree - there's already a request for this called 'midi kits' or something, it was one of the first requests I set up. I wasn't thinking of mixing 'midi' and 'normal' kits but that's a good idea.
-
Also I would like tracks that don't play on any section, ie no colour. I find I'm wasting a section for this so I can have tracks that are grouped with a section (ie visually they're laid out in this way) but they don't launch automatically when tha…

Yes - I found myself needing to do exactly this the other day. Plus it's a very powerful feature for experimentation. +1

What the OP means (I presume) is outputting the various mod sources (LFOs, envelopes, sidechain) as MIDI cc or CV. This is not currently possible and would be super-awseome
-
Yes. Yes. Yes. Same for CV out please, so we can use it for modulation rather than just pitch. This is right up there for me. I guess everyone has their own ideas as to where they want the Deluge to go but for me the sequencer is the #1 prio…

Thanks for the replies - seems weird we can't user finer increments on the global transpose.
-
Having both options would be great. They kept changing the way this worked in Maschine (much to people's annoyance) - I would have expected it to work 'per step' by default, same with MIDI CC.
-
100% agree. Also think by default zoom should take you to the start of the screen you were currently looking at rather than the start of the entire pattern.
-
Yeah, I think what's really needed is an 'undo record' command that removes all notes and automation since 'record' was last pressed. I'm finding the lack of this extremely frustrating. Delete all notes would also be very useful.
-
The more I play with this thing the more I'm convinced 'undo record' is essential. The way it works on the Tempest is nice. 'Undo Record' deletes everything recorded since 'record' was last pressed, so if you record something that you know is a k…

I really like the idea of a 'bar select' where the selected bar(s) would loop and operations like transpose would apply to selected bar(s). I also really like the idea of being able to shorten tracks without things going out of time. This might b…
-
100% agree - wouldn't necessarily have to be a full 'undo', just 'undo record'. It's quite easy to forget 'record' is on and completely screw up your pattern while mucking about!
-
Here are a couple of possibilities... I think it probably makes sense to set the loop in 'song' view. So there's a way of toggling loop mode on and off. Maybe shift+play if that hasn't been used for anything yet. Perhaps the 'play' LED would flas…
-
I agree. It's annoying if you want to automatically enter 8th notes and can only zoom out to 16ths. This is one of the first issues I've hit...
-
Haha - yeah, I do a lot of pixel art! There are tons of things I'd rather have though! The circuit uses the pads as a display sometimes doesn't it? This could be useful. You could get another four characters of legible text on the pads.
-
Normally I'd do this with a 'sample and hold' LFO set slow to retrigger on note on. I'd be surprised if this can't be done with the Deluge but mine hasn't arrived yet! Some synths (e.g. Tempest) offer a 'random' mod source which generates a rando…
