You should be able to do what youre thinking, unless i misunderstood your question.

Yeah it works just like a piano roll. You change the synth type to be mono or poly or 'auto' and i think if you have multiple notes on at the same time while in mono, the note with the higher velocity will sound.

Ive ordered a wifi sd card since i know ill be pulling this card in and out alot.

Cool thanks for the heads up. Thats going to make finding your way around much easier.

Wifi card is on the way!

Very cool with lots of potentail it seems. Any idea of cost yet for preinstalled wifi cards?

Ill have to check out that compiler your working on. Very cool. Even just keeping separate what youre not using is helpful. Have you seen theres a kit compiler? It creates kits from all the samples in the folder you run it in. Im away from my comput…

You can midi map the mutes and launch button to a seprate controler to launch scenes from any view...its a second box yea but still handy
-
It will record everything you hear including any tracks set to external input.
-
Record+play will start playback and record and then rec+play again will end recording at the end of the measure automaticly...not really live " looping" but gets you quantised recorded loops

hmmm...yeah, i might have to try it out then! maybe after i become more familiar with the deluge.
-
Sounds interesting. Will have to try that. Couldnt you just not retrigger the notes and have everything not triggering while record is on and playback is still occurring?
-
I should say i dont know if thats actually being worked on though...but copy paste between songs would be great regardless
-
You could then use the song structure as a favorites type folder for synths kits midi ect
-
I think a 'copy/paste track' from song to song possibly being worked on...then you could create a template song full of track types and just go into that song and copy track into current project
-
Right thats great for one track changing a pgm nessage on launch...im suggestion to enable multiple program changes per -step- on the grid per each track/midi channel...like you can do for say pitch when pitch is assigned to a parameter knob...its a…

Agree. Fb is too random. I like how everything Deluge is organized here, search bar ect.
-
Thanks for confirming, Sam! Good to know.

Are you saving the kit before you change songs? you need to be in the edit screen by pressing the data knob first to save kits/synths...youll then see the kit led blink...otherwise you save the song...that help?

Crazy. Seems an easy rabbit hole to fall into though.

Hey great. Thanks for the info. Seems ive heard regarding laptops, that both leaving pluged in was bad, and also didnt matter. Im guessing the deluge has an auto charge shut off feature. Glad they designed it as an easy to replace battery tho.
