I will give. both methods a try. thank you two for hanging in there with me. I am sure one day a kind of "fade"-mechanism will magically appear on the del.

@lukzen said: Don't use Audio Clips for any audio editing. They're good for live-looping, but for anything you want to edit and sync to your beat it's much better to use a Kit. FYI you can record straight into a kit row by holding an audit…

Before sending it though, I will describe this again, maybe I was not clear in the beginning: So, I am trying to resample a 2 bar loop of an internal Deluge synth clip with the tails of the reverb looped over to the beginning. So far so simple. B…

that's very nice. i send it over.

yes latest firmware. 3.1.5. The audio is fine, its all perfect level. hard to tell if there is a zero crossing bc the waveform is kinda hard to tell. then again: it should just loop. like ableton or any other digital loop. the synth (just 1 track…

and zeroing in does not work because this throws off the timing (and the clking does not go away anyway). so I am at a loss here.
 -
Well it clicks. Its supposed to loop but it alway clicks. thats the basic function of loop based recording and producing. ableton gets this right, even old mpcs I tried with the attack on every level, put it even in a kit to have full envelopes. …

Hmm, less then ideal. But ok. maybe a featu... nevermind. :-) thx

Ok to clarify, I mean recording the shift mutes for clips or the regular mutes for kit row. which it does not seem to record but would be vital for a performance to be captured. (it's you again! thank you for your efforts.)

@Too_Mere said: No problem! :-) Just add a blank clip that ends exactly on the next bar, after tails have faded. You should be able to get an exact number of bars that way. thats a very fine suggestion! will try this. again: thank you.

then again: thank you for helping me out on this one! greatly appreciated!

@Too_Mere said: Not impossible. I would load the sample into a kit. Adjust the clip length then resample with rec + play as described above. Then you should be able to load that into an audio clip of the same length without warping. that …

thing is: I dont want any looping. I just want to play a file as it was intended. simple but seemingly impossible.
 -
ah so maybe this could be the trick? import the file to an audio clip in arranger, lengthen the clip to an even measure and then it should work?
 -
and what do you mean by "correct clip length"? always a full bar / measure?
 -
Hey, thanks again for getting back so fast. Hm, I sometimes get files that are not exactly "X" bars. So thats not going to work. The tempo is read from the file nonetheless correct (if I resample like in the 2nd example). But if the bar lenght is…

Hm. A bit complicated maybe, but I did find this:
 -
Yes automation is nice but triggering these effects is more like "playing"them, which makes it very musical. if one could maybe trigger a macro of automation that would maybe replicate it. but how?

sounds interesting. but the link is dead. any chance of reupload?

@o_o said: @jensg I got mine in December 2019, and paid a total of 108,23 € for customs. The major portion of that sum (80,21 €) is Einfuhrumsatzsteuer. this is great info! i purchased yesterday so I keep my fingers crossed. thank you.

not to resurrect an old thread, but I also think about buying one and shipping it to germany. are the taxes / customs still around 105€ as posted above? this would be then 833€ for the deluge incl shipping and 105€ taxes plus paypal 34€ coming do…
