Well it clicks. Its supposed to loop but it alway clicks. thats the basic function of loop based recording and producing. ableton gets this right, even old mpcs I tried with the attack on every level, put it even in a kit to have full envelopes. …

Ok to clarify, I mean recording the shift mutes for clips or the regular mutes for kit row. which it does not seem to record but would be vital for a performance to be captured. (it's you again! thank you for your efforts.)

ah so maybe this could be the trick? import the file to an audio clip in arranger, lengthen the clip to an even measure and then it should work?
