Also voting for the crave. Pair it with a zoom 70cdr Effects Unit (which can be hacked to unlock a lot more effects than stock) and you have a huge sound source in your hands. Also I learned a lot on synthesis when using the crave.

I didn’t realize that changing via section does not show the pop. Very odd indeed. Good find!

It is even more pronounced when using other audio material. The deluge would benefit from some sort of zero crossing mechanism. Like when changing sections, clips, loop samples and so on. There are quite a lot of situations when I have to work ar…

Have not found an answer to this, but it seems, just resampling the clip and putting the resample into kit row is the way to go. More fine control, no clicking, all fine. It doesn’t solve the mystery but helps me to continue building.

So I did a small testfile illustrating the issue. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R8WhBy0kgbSiOHsUTEvsaxBFDUeoZdrs/view?usp=drivesdk

I route the Deluge out to a iRig duo connected to an ipad running AUM and mixbox for FX. Then one lineout goes back into the deluge. And the headphone out on the iRig is the one I listen to.

So there is no solution or explanation to this behavior?
-
Well, the Loop is changed the exact same time, whether in arranger or song mode. So one is introducing a pop, and one (arranger) not. Is the transition from one clip to the other handled differently in the different modes then?
-
Also, why is the stutter clicking so much? A lot of other stutter fx are smooth, this one is nasty and harsh. Can we remedy this in any way?

Hmm having this one too, the pads on the bottom right started to behave flaky. It’s kind of unexpected for medium usage of not even two years. I mean it’s a 1000+ €, I guess I wanted this to last way longer. Think 10 years or so.
-
An alternative is to load them as a normal sample in a kit row, change the sample play mode to “cut”. Then you extend the sequence to be longer then your stem and place one single note at the beginning. This note will be exactly as long as your o…

Very useful info. Thanx again @Too_Mere , you are the Deluge Jedi.

Sure, it’s always good to recycle!

there are usb B to B cables that work out of the box. https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B007VAZ98U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

to create. delete and move files and folders (even rename them) would be a godsend. i dont how how hard this is, but it would infinitly better the device. yeah the commander is all fine and well, but the point of having the deluge was to get away…

for organizing: You can always load your synths in a new project, then "collect all" and it will save your synths + samples in a new folder under songs. makes it kind of neat to bring in somewhere else and you can clean out the resample folder witho…

All fine and well, but: why no sidepanels?
-
Alright, will order a couple of them to be fine for the foreseeing future.
-
But again, why is this happening after only a year (1,5) to be exact? I mean i had an ableton push for well over 6 years of very heavy use and it didnt even flinch. So can i expect to change pads every year now?
-
Alright, good to know. Thank you again for your help.

Ok thank you. It’s kind of strange for a unit to get worn down after only 1 year of usage in a clean/dustfree and all around caring environment. Does this replacement void the warranty though?
