...and a bunch of different character adding saturations. not looking for distortion so much as different tonal character 'circuits'

So here I'm getting really happy with the combo. Deluge is the rhythm sequencer again but its now sequencing 3 parts: TR-6S, Deluge Samples/Kits, and my Eurorack Drum Synth monster Force is sequencing the synths like MC707, Wavestate, Internal F…

Thank you! Yes Deluge is acting as the Drum Sequencer and Force is the melodic sequencer. I did this so I could freely jump between drum patterns independent of the "song part" and really jam it improv. While this was a basic use of each powerful …

Did anything ever come of this? I was just thinking about the same thing and looking for options. If you copy and paste sections it would be nice to know what they are as they could get reordered on the 2nd or 3rd section.

I went back into this video and added Chapters (I just learned how to do this on YouTube). This will make the video easier to navigate or skip to parts you are interested in. I also did this to the one I made on "How To: Lately Bass"

Thanks oneANT! I'll check if the harmonics and things bear out those kind of rich tones, not sure atm.

Thanks for the responses here, FB and YouTube! Just doing a round-up here of a couple insightful comments: 2 requests were for if I could do a How To video on how to design in FM on Deluge. My thoughts: are there any particular sounds or patches you…

I've created a collection of FM Patches. Check out my post here at https://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/3707/fm-patches-sound-design-by-fenix-song-free-set/ for a video and the link to the files. Hope you enjoy!

I've created FM Soundset for you/community... https://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/3707/fm-patches-sound-design-by-fenix-song-free-set/ ...head on over to this forum post about it.

Thanks so much Ron. I renamed the patches starting with RON... to remember who made them. I great collection of tones.

hi too - from Seattle https://www.youtube.com/c/FenixSongMusic/

Thanks a lot! I've been hanging out on the playlist and subscribing to many of you! Great way to build YouTube/Deluge community!
-
Will do, but I actually re-listened to my Soundcloud - and I had some Deluge stuff on it. Haha... Here's some tracks: I did these when I got my Summit but they are really Deluge driven. Some cool tones!
-
Cool post about it and I look forward to trying them out!!!
-
How do I contact you to add some to the playlist? TY for this!

Sounds great! Punching hard! I'm going to check this out more soon. I agree Soundcloud works though I moved away from it to try Bandcamp... I'm not sure one is better than the other I just wanted to try some Bandcamp. Maybe I'll get back into Sound…

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it - everything you said: that's what I'm going for here. Hoping to build more videos as I go when the music and the imagery come together in some meaningful way.

I loved that. I like your stand too, I'm doing similar. What are those parts on the 2nd tier to angle it? 2020 rocks! (not the year) ;P

That would help a lot for Faster jams/songs from scratch.

+1

and/or the SHIFT key on the Deluge being Midi Mappable to midi note. This could open up a lot of these things.

I agree with this because I create songs with Deluge using different external hardware. On one song it is my full modular setup, on others it is just the Digitone or Blofeld. Having a bit more screen would help to be able to Name/Label songs to rem…

Thank you Barconax! (Sorry, been sick for a while! 1 after the other) - Yes! I like jamming on it like an instrument, I play guitar so the scale layout is very intuitive for me. I'm starting to use the knobs more for both PLOCK style recording and …

I would add: For the Keyboard View / Sequencer View... what if the sequencer view was just at the bottom line (16th notes + still zoomable) - the keyboard view getting the rest of the pads.... and if you hold one of those steps and press (above in t…
