Definetely cool to have. Not a priority for me. Dont know if there is a hardware sampler that does this. I think it is overkill for the Deluge and as said we'll quickly end up with massive redundant data. I have songs that easily use 500mb of sampl…

thanks for pointing this out. then again, I dislike xml anyways

nice idea to map multiple params to a knob/button. not so useful here imho cause i dont want to loose my track effect settings when tweaking global fx. global effect learn is not far away i reckon. hope we can learn all global fx params globally lik…

upvote for condensing as oldgearguy says. Killer feature to have for faster navigation in general. UI idea: In track view hold SHIFT and press UP/DOWN to remove all unused rows. If there are no unused rows the removal is reverted and all rows are…

anything connected to the Deluge? had a rare issue when midi input prevents booting.

upvote. great idea about changing x/y axis, dont know if this will change.. improvements to song/section is number one on my wishlist. I feel Deluge does better on song structures that have rather independent sections, maybe more like a pop song (…

upvote for dynamics effects. wondering if effects like compressor, noise gate, limiter, maximizer, etc. were excluded for a good reason. samplers usually cover this. for me a compressor is most favored. i like Deluge does focus on „creative“ effec…

upvote. Many drum modules implement the GM standard. Hopefully easy to fix, to allow reordering of tracks for Miditracks could be very quick to implement. Possible to fix with an external midi mapper, for example battery powered Midipal by Mutable…

Great idea, did escape my attention so far. That magical led rgb matrix should definetely get more UI love Waveform display: 128 „pixel“ seems crazy for me, cant imagine adjusting fractions of milliseconds in a 10s sample.. maybe I would love …

More synthesis methods would be very cool. Granular and Physical Modelling would be my top picks. Or maybe because Deluge is a sample based machine (for me), I'd go for stuff the Roland V-Synth can do (Variphrase, stuff like formant control). Howe…

Copy&paste probably will come soon. Until now there is a copy workaround. If you clone a track you get a copy of all notes. You can actually “unclone” a cloned track by changing its patch or the track type. Just noticed it also works with chang…

You can set up a patch independent arp. If you dont mind using your midi ports 1) Connect midi in to midi out Note: Amazing, most gear I have ends up in a midi feedback loop if I do this. If Deluge freezes (did not happen here), you might need t…

cool sgsrules, very handy, did not know that one, thanks!

Most synths handle arpeggio settings per patch, some treat it as a global setting (some of my Roland synths do this). By now I just poke in an arp pattern myself to cycle through presets. Or you could use an external controller obviously. Guess n…

Thanks for the info, not a problem for me, just had bad 5 minutes. Will keep an eye on the issue.

@alien_brain no offense, sorry if u felt i am after you.. u have pointed out many good points and I think we both just care about the Deluge a lot btw, u are from the city I admire the most musically.

@alien_brain said: the note tail/effect tail cutoff with song change/track mute is a major impediment however.. also the lack of a proper song mode. these 2 things are imho a necessity to any standalone machine with a sequencer intended for >…

@Toumal said: Huh. I have a cloned track. The notes are cut off. Oh i should note, this is not just about effects, but also about the envelope. I could post some of my pad patches and you'll see what i mean. I do hope this can be im…

Thanks Gibbous, very helpful. Deserves a sticky thread. The note-lenght-wrap-around command doesnt seem right, have just to keep pressing L/R. What about a google doc so we can easily keep it up to date?

upvote. Not terribly important, as external control or disciplined workflows is kind of a workaround. The latter not for me, so I would love this feature UI idea: Yeah, pad blinking would be nice. Seems easy. If that is hard to do, maybe som…

@Toumal said: You can't even arm/disarm different tracks of the same synth, let alone switch to a different song without the effect tail getting completely and utterly cut. This really needs a fix. In fact, the default behavior should be that …

Unsure. Cool setting to have for sure. In midi mode, on track or pad mute a note off is sent immediately, all playing notes are cut. Thats ok. Midi mute usually works this way I guess. Really hard for me to say how the Deluge should react with Sy…

It is rather a feature seen in linear sequencers like Cubase, pattern sequencer like Ableton do it differently. Deluge is a pattern or non-linear sequencer. So I’d imagine you would rather create a new section if you want to work on a specific part …

http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/164/deluge-kit-generator/p1 some guy did a python script, havent tried yet

upvote, stutter is not really useful by now. kinda sad the velocity pad edit mode was removed due to UI considerations. Of course we can use external midi controllers for that, maybe there is a clever way to bring pad param values back.

great idea

have to bump this, sorry for attention sucking, still have the feel this feature would kinda fit nicely into the Deluge. Examples: patterns with a longer loop sample (wrap-around-note-length command is cool though), dense breakbeat programming, mon…

@strych9 said: @amiga909 said: I dont have the Deluge connected to a PC when making music. I don't either, but I do have a massive library of samples on my PC, and editing them is so much easier on it, so when I have a…

Per track swing would be nice. Not a top priority for me. Dont forget armed with crossedit and triplet mode you are on solid grounds looking for that MPC feel by your own.
