interesting. didnt know. if all tracks are deactivated Deluge does not seem to keep counting the play position, it is as its off, midi clock still running though. thread title could be more clear this is not about shift+launch per se, it is about De…

yeah, multisample feature! the great hardware samplers of the past look down to NZ and bow their heads in appreciation 😀 @beaker said: fryyyy, thanks for all your work though. Coz I'm pretty sure it was this that lead to Rohan's developmen…

yeah, it does. if u could reproduce it with stock samples and send the song xml, would surely help. there is something odd. at least there is no sync lag, it does not loose timing between tracks over time if u switch them with rocket speed.
-
still would love to have that 😛

before v2.0 i reached the limits a few times. getting cuts in long samples and such. http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/795/how-to-deal-with-cpu-overload#latest since 2.0, never reached the limits so far.
-
yeah sure, no replacements. a sampler needs tons of fx! the more the merrier @Stije said: i think if you want a good comporessor in the deluge you need a bigger deluge.... nah, i dont think so. deluge compressor fx has to be very c…

yeah, still really want this. compressor is the most basic effect in hardware sampler history: akai mpc60 sported compression, though made everything slow and sounded the same as with no effect

u can create user scales, kind of. linnstrument or launchpad are much more flexible and easier to use for this. support for scales other than diatonic or chromatic http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/284/true-custom-scales#latest

Well.. the synth engines have some similarities but they are different. Would be a ton of work to translate Synth1 presets to Deluge and I dont think the result will be very rewarding. I'd rather put effort in an app that can randomize or mutate Del…

hardware limitation, for sure. why produce expensive velo sensitive buttons if you dont implement it anyway

great idea, i've been rooting to have a "collapse" function too. imho this relates to an already upvoted request http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/284/true-custom-scales#latest

@booyip u mean https://www.facebook.com/groups/delugeusers/?ref=pages_groups_card&source_id=928270333880478? after some scrolling found someinfo. Marc Fox maintains this share? so we have to ask him for access I guess. so seems not be an offic…

wicked if Deluge would support scl files http://www.huygens-fokker.org/scala/scl_format.html, the Aphex Twin thing gives a huge scale presets library

i know, imho better to add the microtuning to an overall scales enhancement request. imho it doesnt make much sense to add microtuning in the current limited scale system. wicked if Deluge would support scl files http://www.huygens-fokker.org/s…

yeah something like this would be useful to have. guess the use case u mean is copying parts in the arranger and inserting them somewhere else. lets say copy arrangement from bar 3 to bar 5 and insert it at bar 24 to e.g. copy and paste a bridge. …

yeah, could be much better, but please rather write it here http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/comment/3072 its one of the top voted requests http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussions/top/ever, they got a much higher chance to get looked at.
-
thanks drGrov, that helps a lot. u say its a product? or a bug? will look into it but there might be nothing i can do on a Mac to deal with ancient Windows file naming. at least i can do a better regex to check for 8.3 filenames, and just skip th…

yeah might be easier than i thought. as said i never really got into it but since u explained it well (polymeter vs. polyrhythm) i give u my tiny upvote

Related Issue: http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/1234/strange-sample-names-in-xml-files By now such samples are skipped and shown in the report as skipped samples.

can't say whenit happens Deluge writes these strange sample names in a XML file. But 100% sure Deluge can read this kind of files though hey simply don't exist on the SD Card..
