What kind of sample are you recording? Is it possible the mic is picking up the sound of the drums from speakers/headphones? Or is it possible you are accidentally doing a resample, which records everything playing?
-
Are you first selecting a shortcut for the parameter you wish to modulate, and then selecting the mod source (X,Y, etc.)?
-
That’s the current process for loading a preset that already exists in a song. The song itself saves a version of the preset in its current state which I do often find super helpful. I’m actually glad it’s not easy to accidentally reset and lose pro…

After messing with a patch you can restore its preset parameters by cloning it. This does indeed work after the fact. Just press load + synth within the clip you’ve messed with. Then hold load to get clone and then press once more to restore the p…

There is not currently a way to normalize audio clips. From the manual: “ After recording samples into a kit, the Deluge digitally normalises the volume level of a recorded sample to make it as loud as possible without clipping. Note: Recorded au…

No problem 👍🏼
-
No, the Deluge needs the power supply for that functionality to work.
-
The Deluge must be receiving mains power in order to enter USB host mode.
-
Happy to help 👍🏼
-
Not currently possible. Sorry

If the gold knob is mapped to a parameter that also has a shortcut, you can use the shortcut to display its number value while turning the gold knob. This is not currently possible with the stutter effect. And the custom 1 pitch within kits is sep…

Not currently possible. Tempo is global. Though I’m sure you could get a similar effect with adjusting track lengths and carefully programming notes.

Feature requests part of the forum is currently closed. They currently have a full backlog of features planned, from my understanding.

It’s not difficult. Pretty simple soldering. And if your unit is only 6 months old this will likely be covered by warranty. They should be happy to send you the replacement encoder or fix it for you, free of charge. Get in touch with ian@synthstr…

There’s actually an additional method of moving kits rows, added in 4.0, which I prefer. Hold the audition and the mute pads of the row you want to move. Then simply turn the vertical scroll knob to move the row up or down.
-
Thanks for clarifying. I don’t believe that’s currently possible. I think gates 3 & 4 can only be triggered by kit rows currently.
-
Wow that’s very odd! I do see that parameter in a few of my song files. Looks like on a couple of kits. But I’m not sure what parameter it corresponds to or how it’s adjusted. I do see that your patch sine waves is out of tune. Can’t tell why or …
-
Can you perhaps clarify your question? Gates 1 and 2 won’t send from gate outputs 3 and 4.
-
Great! Glad to hear 👍🏼

Interesting. I just tried loading your attached wav files into the Deluge as wavetables. And they were both in tune. The samples themselves are not. But used as wavetables they seem quite in tune. Can you describe further the steps you’re taking or …

You won’t need to unscrew the knobs! Just remove the screws on the back and top to release the back panel. Could even try just removing one of the wooden side panels. But the back may allow for more gentle retrieving

@reza said: once u have the two recordings in audio clips: enter audio clip 1, hit shift+browse and then exit (saves location of last browsed file) go to into kit, press an audition pad+load then confirm the first sample. do the same with the …

You can alway tune sounds on the Deluge using the OCS1/2 transpose shortcuts and use the horizontal knob to select the cents to the right of the decimal, then adjust with select knob. But I have a feeling you're not quite in wavetable mode if the…

You can create the folders either on the Deluge or using a computer with your SD card. As long as you didn’t move samples you shouldn’t have any problems. You might just not be seeing the folders because they don’t appear when scrolling presets…
