Well, it works when recording knob movements, but not when I set a value per note (parameter lock)
-
Cc values are usually continuous values, from 1-127. I think that’s the reason. A launchpad for example, sends midi notes for each pad, instead of cc values.
-
Oh and of course, it should be saved within a midi profile (upcoming feature)!
-
I just wanted to add: I'm also having issues with midi CC messages: When I "learn" a synth to a midi track in the Deluge, in order to record/loop record the midi played by the synth's keyboard, when I tweak a knob, it also makes the sound crac…

Thnx for your suggestions! I actually fixed it by rerouting my audio and power supplies. Not sure what did the trick, but it is gone now

@Ian_Jorgensen said: Just pressing any pad on the grid will take you in one step out of the sound editor, pressing back just takes you one step in the menu back at a time. I was unaware of the ability to exit the sound editor by pressing …

I have a Roland A-49 which can switch midi channels very easy and fast. This is a nice workaround for fast instrument switching
-
I agree! This has been suggested many times before already though, but that shows how desperate people want this

@Klaustrophil said: Is the live-looping just for audio or also for MIDI so that the track length of every track grows automatically? Will the foot pedal be usable for other things than audio looping too? That’s actually a very good sug…

Awesome stuff!!

Amen! Respect to you guys!

+1 I'd like to add: just pre configured chords without the ability to transpose is too limited IMO. Would be nice if you'd be able to select a chord, then press a key in the keyboard view or one of the audition keys in track view to play that …

Btw, I already made a topic for this, maybe they can be merged? http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/1406/anti-echo-feature-midi-track-option

Yes please!

@Rohan: I found one more change in the new shortcuts overlay, which seems like a mistake, but I'm not sure: On the far left there is a shortcut for Speed AND one for Pitch/Speed. I think this should be Pitch/Time, like it originally was? Edit:…

@krunchr said: I hope we can also (re-)name samples using the new QWERTY feature. Only songs and patches were mentioned in the teaser. Yes and delete them as well

Ok I’ll be patient!!

The way song view works now just discourages me to create much more than 8 tracks. Which is a shame. I want to launch as many tracks from the same screen as possible. Especially since it is very blurring which track is which when scrolling up and do…

Yes sorry I have been using clips and tracks for the same thing. Also, I don’t want tracks to be able to not link to a section at all. I just point out, you have to link them. Also for backwards compatibility. But sometimes you don’t ever laun…
-
You have 2 columns on the right side, so you have to utilize them. I think it is nice to have 2 separate ways of launching multiple clips at once. Also, you NEED to give an instrument a section, even if you never use it. So I have given a lot of …

@Ian_Jorgensen said: Rohan is already deep into the next update, and it's amazing. @Ian_Jorgensen Can you give us a sneak preview on what's in the next update?
-
@Noris The reason there should be 2 different "views" is because otherwise it wouldn't be clear which column is which instrument, especially when scrolling left/right if you have more than 16 instruments. By using 1 assignable color per instrumen…

@rohan I made a sketchup
-
Ok you are right about the mute complete row. Instead of that, we can use those 8 pads for sections: hold shift and scroll up/down to scroll through the 12 sections. The tracks in the grid should get their section color when holding shift. When not …

For me personally, I wouldn’t care if it replaced the current song view. But, I know some people wouldn’t like it and also for being compatible with older projects, it should be an additional mode. I think sections should not do anything in the “…

Exactly!! The Deluge would defenitely beat the Force if this is ever going to happen!!! And I am very hopeful, since Rohan has shown to be really dedicated and added a lot of major features and improvements so far. Since this is one of the most requ…

With the new AKAI Pro Force, I think this would be an even more important feature for the Deluge in order to not lose potential buyers. Tbh, if the Force was there before I bought the Deluge, I would probably buy the Force, purely because of it u…

I have the same feelings. Would love to see an ableton style clip launching mode to be implemented in the Deluge though. Then I don't need the APC!
