I have been trying to understand the minimum requirements for streaming - one thing to point out is there are a handful of class-compliant USB audio devices that work with iPhone so you can stream stereo audio. Other things not mentioned in this thread include video switching devices like atem mini pro and platforms such as restream.io. From what I've seen - you can stream with a smartphone - but to make a good stream, you need some lights, multiple cameras and graphic overlays - none of which are simple for music producers. It's a whole world unto itself, and after trying a few different things on my own, I have a new-found respect for popular streamers.
