Sent my Deluge for a UK upgrade and SynthProf REJECTED the delivery!??
just updating this - long after the event. I did it on reddit but forgot to here.
The SynthProf address is classically English with a "quoted" bit in there. Like: 5 Duckrow "the Quackening" Duck road, Duckington.
The courier company I used, their form stripped out the quoted bit and I didn't notice when I printed the label that there was a "bit missing". Consequently it went to 5 Duckrow, Duck Road which was about a mile down the road. Between me, SynthProf and Synthstrom I realised my error and contacted the courier to re-add the missing bit.The Deluge now has a fancy new screen

I'm confused about how many clips I can have per track in Grid Mode
Hi, I come from an Ableton background and am interested in the new grid mode of the Community firmware. I have an opportunity to purchase a Deluge but I'm confused about some limitations and the terminology also complicates my understanding.
Is it correct that the Deluge can only have 12 clips/patterns per track?
The limits stated seem to apply to song sections, but I can't see anywhere anyone saying "you can have 256 clips" only that the Grid mode is limited to 12 launchable clips per track.I'd mainly use the Deluge as a sequencer for my external gear, and in each song I certainly need more than 12 clips per track. The model and terminology makes searching quite difficult, for example I encountered the references to "white" clips of which there can be many more it seems, but are apparently only available to arrangements - so the Grid mode would only have the basic 12 clips per track. Is that correct?
I don't really need "sections" here, I need a lot of clips per track! Like 128 clips per song per MIDI track would be nice!

Round 2 for OLED deposits open, and timelines for Round 1 are up now

These pricings and timings are accurate, in my experience. A warning though - I paid $20.50 for postage but the company carrying out the upgrade (Sarah Jury, Synthprof in Suffolk) returned using "Royal Mail Tracked 24" for £3.99 with only £150 insurance cover. I sent it with Special Delivery and £750 cover. The instructions say about the postage "(We will refund you the difference in the actual cost)”.I contacted Synthstrom about this difference several times in the last month and have had no reply. When I was paying for the upgrade - responses were swift. So, I feel I was ripped off and, now, ignored. It has basdly tarnished my view of the company..
This makes me VERY nervous to get the upgrade in the UK!
I wish there was a way to drop off and pick up in person. Our postal system is not to be trusted these days
