  • UI: Momentarily englightning shortcut labels with all pads while holding SHIFT?

Hi, this is my first post so please bear with me. I didn't find a way to steer this post into the Deluge Software Suggestions area.
Mods, please move it there if appropriate.

While working with Deluge in dimly lit room, I find it often difficult to read/locate those less used shortcuts. Here's my proposal for enlightening shortcuts feature:

In the Settings > Pads could be an item called Light (LGHT) where user enables/disables the pad-light feature. I.e. on daylight it could be disabled. When enabled, all pads would be momentarily lit in white color while holding the SHIFT button. This allows easy reading of the shortcuts in dimly lit environments. Theoretically not all pads would have to be lit. Only those that have shortcut labels around.

Thank you for reading this and for awesome support and development of Deluge!

I'm currently testing with the Linnstrument.

I don't believe that it sends a MCM to Deluge. So far I have it working for Deluge synths with (In> Lower > 8) and (In> Upper > Off).

Linnstrument can send MCM if you go to Per-Split Setting and hold the ChPerNote or ChPerRow depending on mode you want to use. It blinks shortly and switches selected split to MPE mode.

  • Setting perfect sample end point. What’s your trick?

Kinda late but following to this topic ... I always start setting loop points while triggering high register notes of the sample - it plays faster so you don't have to wait that long for sample to play through and I can hear any loop clicks better in high pitched tones.
