Song view should work like Ableton Live's session view
Today's song view is a bit of waste of real estate. Every track gets a whole row, and there's not much utility in that. Yes, you do see the track length which is nice, but the price of that is, after 8 rows, you're out of space and need to start scrolling.
A better implementation would be like Ableton Live's Session view, where each column represents a track and each row a scene. Each pad would then represent an entire track. Then there could be no need for confusing colors to designate which track belongs to which session. Rather, the "Audition" buttons would be used to launch an entire row

Piano style layout for entering notes (in addition to the guitar style 4ths layout)
It would be nice to have a piano style input option alongside the isomorphic guitar style 4ths layout. This way you could see 8 octaves (!!!) at once. See attached screenshot.

Support for transferring files from a computer directly to the SD card via Deluge
Currently you need to take the card out, plug it into a USB card reader, and then plug it back in, which is a pain. Deluge can handle so many samples - let us just plug a USB cable from Deluge to a PC and transfer files. Thanks!

Play position cursor should be a static "on" light, not blink and disappear
Currently the play position cursor is very "blinky". This results in me not knowing where it's at when zoomed out, and for an unappealing user experience when zoomed in

Deluge does not properly control iPad synths via midi
I just tried it and indeed the Deluge takes too much power from the iPad so the iPad shuts it out. A USB MIDI cable via CCK works fine though, at least from a basic test I did. Used the iConnectivity mio
