  • Reveal patched parameters from mod source

I'd like to see quickly what parameters have been patched to each mod source.

    Idea:
SHIFT + [mod source pad] when out of the sound editor in a synth track.

While the mod source pad (e.g. LFO 1) is held down, the other pads representing sound editor parameters that are patched to it could light up (e.g. LPF freq). This would make it easy and very quick to see what is patched to what.

There could potentially be different light colours or flashing patterns to indicate a direct patch or second / third level patch etc.

  • monochrome /single color for tracks

I like this idea. Could be implemented as a system setting / global option, e.g. COLOurs: STANdard, SINGle.

  • Song view should work like Ableton Live's session view

I'd really like to see some implementation of this idea. I feel like I can't really 'program' in a song in song view with complex changes, aside from duplicating and creating sections which can't really be automated easily. This would enable programming a complete song, without having to 'do it live' every time.

Could potentially be reached via SHIFT + SONG for this alternative song / section programming view.

I agree with it tacharon's suggestion of keeping tracks horizontal, so time still scrolls left to right. I'm imagining a FruityLoops style song view, basically like a condensed version of the current song view (as if zoomed right out), but where tracks can be brought in or repeated at different points on a horizontal timeline. Basically you can have multiple instances of a track on each horizontal row, spread out over time (left to right), and you could alternate between tracks easily.

A track could still have its total length indicated by a bright light to start and dim lights for the remainder (could still be zoomed in / out but default could be 1 bar). It'd also be great with this style to be able to 'trim' an instance of a track short if needed for some stage in the song.

  • Smoother gradient for using saturation

    +1

the saturation sounds too harsh too quickly. Maybe some soft warm tube saturation at lower values, turning into overdrive at middle values and harsher distortion only at the highest levels

This. So many times I find myself wanting something in between these steps, but the effect goes from 0-extreme in a step or two. I usually just end up leaving the effect off as a result. I'd love some smoother, more subtle options.

  • Keyboard mode to display previously entered notes on playback

+1. I've often wished it did this to help with jamming / progressively recording melodies.

When playing, the notes light up brighter, not white. Keeping this consistent and using brightness to indicate a sequenced note being played back would seem more logical to me than white.
