  • Kill All Effects Master Command

The onboard effects are fantastic and a lot of fun to use! Midi mappable has been requested, and that would be great! However a master ‘kill’ command to set all master fx (or maybe even track too!) to ‘0’ (or even to a preset setting to have group fx presets) would be super helpful when you get really really deep and far out! Relaunching a track is possible, but when you are playing new clips or a different group of clips a way to do a quick reset would be amazing! Thanks for reading!

  • Allow 'Free' Recording/Looping with Built-In Keyboard

As you can now 'free' record/loop midi and audio loops, it would be great if we could use the built in keyboard to do the same. i.e. Record a new clip on a new track in the keyboard mode for 8 measures instead of the default 1 measure, and not have to preset the length of the clip. Hope thats clear enough! I know there are a couple workarounds to kind of make it work, but I would like it to be as easy as recording with an external midi controller. Thanks for making an amazing instrument!

  • Elevate Monitoring to a Global Level

Please make monitoring a global setting that is unaffected by song level or song selection. It would make it so much easier to manage for those using live instruments. Thank you!

  • Deluge firmware V3.0.0 released

Still no global midi-cc's only the 7 remote commands. There are hundreds of midi-controler out there and there are coming more and more. For live, for studio, for sending sound commands to different synths, beatboxes and mixing tables, to create changes in the scenes. Synthstrom is ignoring all this – the midi-cc's in the Deluge are still song based! Ok, its possible to create a song template which is the source for all the following songs. That could work – as long as you don't change any sound, cause the learned midi-cc's are stored within the sound-xmls! Thats ridiculous. The midi-implementation in the Deluge has nearly nothing to do with the standard. It would be really helpful for all users who work with the Deluge in a complex setting, to give it a midi implementation that is standard since the early 80th. Otherwise this machine will have a very limited future.

Synthstrom does it the same way a DAW would do it. You would have to map for each instance of the synth in a DAW. You can get around it with templates, but if it were global commands, then if you adjusted for one synth it would move the others in the song/template. I dont think that would be preferable in most situations. If they were able to make it global controls that would apply to only the synth you have selected and are currently working on, that would be awesome, but I bet that would be tough to implement as well.

Is there a way to select the audio input for recording audio clips while in grid session mode? At the moment I'm having to go back into rows mode to do this.

OK - found it! Hold Learn/input and press an audio pad in the Grid session.

What is an audio pad? I’m still struggling

Nevermind.. I figured it out :) wish I could figure out how to delete a comment now though!
